At Rhinestone, we offer different placement options depending on your goals—whether you’re looking for a companion, a performance prospect, or participation in our breeding program.
Companion Dog Agreement (Pet Homes)
Companion puppies are placed in loving homes as family pets and are not sold with breeding rights.
These puppies are carefully evaluated for temperament and structure and are well-suited for life as companions and/or active family dogs. While they represent the quality of the breed, they are not intended to be part of a breeding program.
Competition & Breeding Agreement
For buyers interested in performance and the potential for future breeding, we offer select puppies under a structured agreement designed to protect and improve the breed.
Breeding is not automatic—it is conditional on the dog meeting strict health, temperament, and performance criteria.
If a Buyer chooses to pursue breeding, they agree to the following:
-
Consultation with Rhinestone prior to any breeding decisions
-
Completion of all required health clearances:
-
Hip and elbow certification (OFA or equivalent) at 2 years of age or older
-
Annual eye examinations by a recognized specialist
-
Cardiac evaluation by a certified cardiologist at 12 months or older
-
-
DNA testing, with responsible pairing (carriers bred only to clear dogs)
-
Achievement of at least one recognized American Kennel Club or Canadian Kennel Club title
-
Breeding only to dogs with equivalent health clearances
-
Placement of all non-competition puppies on non-breeding agreements
This approach ensures that any breeding is done ethically, responsibly, and with the long-term health of the breed as the priority.
